It's too tall, over an inch taller than the 35. And with plans of dropping the car, taller wouldn't help with clearance. The wheel gap matches, which I thought it would.
True, but it's a 1.5" shorter than the rears. That's sort of extreme in terms of ABS input. So why not a 305/30 on the rear to be in the same range of tire diameter? A 285/40-19 is the same diameter as a 285/35-20. It's not too tall. I'm lowered with 285/35-20s and 325/30-20s.

It's only about a 5% difference in tire speed though, so I'm pretty sure its well within the realm of abs capabilities. Considering you can do a accelerating burnout in these cars, without going out crazy to redline, and not trigger traction control or anything, there is a fairly good size window for wheel speed differences.

And regardless, a muscle car should have a little bit bigger and taller tire in the rear anyway. So it's a win in the looks department.
