Rear GT blackout ?

Is the GT emblem on the rear held on by tape? I assume it probably is. If so who has got a replacement black GT, and from where?

What am I missing here? UPR wants $50 for the GT emblems? Can't you just plasti dip them and save a ton of cash?

If their held on with 3m tape, when you take them off their pretty much ruined. You could replace the 3m tape I guess than plasti dip. Probably just easier to buy a new emblem.

There Rear trunk GT emblem is not just held on with tape and adhesive. It's got alignment prongs that are melted by heat on the rear side of the trim panel. Here's a video showing the removal and "How to"
