Can anyone recommend a shop in the Nashville area or Tennessee to repair my rear-end? This is the second time that it has went out and I need it fixed right and for good.

I've used Carma Performance for a few things and they've done a good job. I've worked with the owner Erin a bit and he's a good dude. They've been doing a lot of high-dollar builds and stuff more recently, but they're just generally very competent.

Side note: Heyyy, what's up fellow Nashville native. We should try to get a group of Cobras together for a cruise sometime.

I've paid twice to have it done .bringing just center section,

Than did the last 1 myself .

Our service manual has instructions and foot notes,

Wasn't all that hard.

Race in housing was a little hard to find in local parts store

Ring and pinion I used craigslist for local area , 50 bucks to help costs.

Sealing cover is mostly the issue,,
I let mine sit 24hrs to cure before filling ,it gets beat to hell with this design and leaks are common.

I did it myself last time…took me 3, 8 hour days with no lift..,,never again. Besides I’m on a time crunch.. moving to Arizona and need it fixed asap
Yeah, this IRS sucks to work on. One main reason I was a SRA…I can’t justify the cost for a SRA swap though when I all I do is drive it on the street a few times a month. I should have done 3.73s and rebuilt it when I had the IRS out this past winter…

I do rear on the ground.

Just lift rear. 2 small jack stands.

Pull cat back. 20 mins
Pull only 1 side,,
Remove wheel, remove upper cam bolt, and axle nut, push axle in and push down on knuckle,
Shaft will come out the top.

Pry at center on cv joint to pop out of rear,

Crawl under.
2 bolts on cover brace,
Remove 2 abs sensors,
Remove 2 bolts and rubber bushings ,unbolt flange and let driveshaft hang ,

Loosen both sides lower control arm bolts ,they will move back to remove cross brace. Don't fully remove bolt

Lower center section and pry from cv joint again and slide center off,

1hr work tops .

Take center and have fixed
