Well, the time is coming to slap on the 4:10's and I'm gonna put in all the new woo-haa along with it, since it's damn near 10's old. (plus it looks like it's leaking like something fierce)

I'm looking at two different people for the rebuild kit. And would like some opinions on em. See what ya'll think.

LFP. They don't have a direct link for just the kit, but I heard you can call em for it.

Then these is this place. I heard about this place through these forums I think.

Thanks ya'll.

Detroit TrueTrac limted slip rear diff and be done with it.

No more clutches to worry about.

I'd get the TT and replace the carrier bearing & races. That's all you need to do unless you have problems or something shows excessive wear.

Wait wait wait. So all the "kits" out there are to help the stock dif keep on working. And they are not really needed with a TruTrac?

Damn I never knew that. I love this site. I know them clutches ware out, and given the age of my baby...I guess I know what I'm saving my pennies for.
