Rear end Lube?

Changing out gears. What lube do you reccomend? Lucas? non-Synthetic? weight? manufacturer's recomendations?

I could be mistaken, but I think all gear lube is synthetic.. can't go wrong with the RP!

I don't think all lube is synthetic, not sure myself.. That is why I asked.
