I have a humming noise in my rear end. im not positive that the rear end is bad, but when i bought it the guy said it had solid rear end bushings. Could this be the hum noise or what do you guys think? Im running out of ideas. MY dad and I put it up on a lift and check the rear end out and it doesnt seem to be bad but i wanted to get some feedback from everyone on svtp. thanks for the help.

If he put in poly bushing then you are hearing the gears the poly makes the gear noise much louder. The rubber bushing dampen the noise I am going to say you are fine my makes the same noise.

I think almost all 8.8's have that noise. Especially if the gears have been changed and they weren't setup 100% right. I think due to the pinion depth not being set just right. It's not going to hurt anything. Just turn the radio up or get some louder exhaust.
