Rear Diff leak...this may help someone out....

I have the same leak, between cover and housing. Is this covered under warranty, I did buy the extended warranty. I hate going to the stealership. I keep finding oil drops on my driveway. Last time i changed the motor oil I couldnt find any evidence of a leak. Then it hit me, just like my 04 cobras, leaky diff! Laid on the ground behind the car and wouldnt you know a drop is hanging off the diff as i type this. Noticed some oil on the exhuast near the cover as well.
Should i tackle this myself of take it to Ford?

Why buy the warranty if you're not going to use it?
Def have the dealer do this one.

Had a leak in mine that turned out to be the vent. Removed the factory vent and installed a fitting and piece of tubing and fixed. Tie strapped the tube up with a bend where it couldn't leak.
