Buy a Panasonic SA-XR55 Surround Sound Receiver. It is awesome and costs about $220.
The sound quality is fantastic and rivals that of receivers costing over $1000.
In case you are wondering why it is so unique, it uses all digital amplifier stages ass opposed to analog in regular receivers.
Buy seperate speakers as you can afford them. I have Athenas and they kick serious ass. Beautiful sound.
