Reached my 2009 goal with the Whipple !!

New personal best yesterday. Finally managed a decent run in good conditions. First time I ever went 1.5X 60ft and must say it's pretty damn fun ! :-D

Cut a 1.56 60ft, 6.81 @ 104.8 in the 1/8 and stopped the clock at 10.56 @ 132.13mph. :banana:

Running a 2.3 Whipple @ 21psi with MS109, return fuel setup, full weight except for the set of Bogart D10s and removed front swaybar. Stock suspension all around. IRS mods include BF brace and MM aluminium diff bushing kit, stock halfshafts :beer:

There's still some room for improvement considering I can't get myself to powershift second gear... think I'm a bit scared of that one :dw: Next step would be to launch off the two step but last time I tried that I had to call the towing... :lol:

Thanks for the comments, always appreciated. Still thrilled about that new best but I guess it's never enough...

To answer a few questions, I bought the wheels used from a guy here, paid around $2000 for the set. Tires are 26 x 11.5 x 16 MT ET Streets. Usually traps with IAT2 in the 145-150 range...
