Re-valve Struts??

I've heard of people getting their stock bilstein struts re-valved? Can anyone inform me what this is for, who would do it, rough cost, etc? I'm thinking about a tubular k-member for the cobra and would be going with a coil-ever setup.

It depends on the spring rate you are going to use. It might just be worth it to purchase new struts and shocks, but if you call Maximum Motorsports, they can give you some great information. If you have a Vert, you will definitely need new struts and shocks since the OEM set is matched to the softer springs on that car.

I just re-built two of them with brand new housings, but left the valving as they are (you do have to send them in for that), which is from the 2000 Cobra R.

Yea just give MM a call. Also you can sell your stockers and make up some coin for the new ones. thats what I did. I went with the sports
