I'm sure we'll have the chance to meet up this summer. Cheers. Thank you. I do love the looks of these cars. I can't wait to see the final product with the flares, wheels and tires. Interesting idea. I honestly don't know how far I would go with posting too much about stuff with work. But like I said I am a licensed funeral director in the state of CT. But, I also work for my family business so my job entails quite a few different tasks, some of which consist of; -Meeting with families to coordinate funeral arrangements. -Running funerals (being the head funeral director on the funeral). -Meeting with people for pre-arranging their funeral. -Being on call at night (If necessary, doing removals in the middle of the night). -Embalming, dressing, cosmetizing and casketing people for viewing. Since I work for my family business I have a lot of other responsibilities that other employees do not. such as; -Paying the business' bills. -Doing payroll. -Doing bank reconsiliations. -Ordering and restocking necessary supplies. -Scheduling maintenance for our fleet. My grandfather and his two brothers opened the original funeral home in 1952. In 1995, we build and opened our new facility. We were always in Waterbury but our original funeral home's was not in the best spot of town, and was quickly declining. That is why we build our new facility (still in Waterbury). Our business has more than doubled since the move to our new facility in 1995. I'm sure I forgot a lot but it's definitely not an easy job, but I love it. I have a lot of responsibilities, especially for a 25 year old. I learned a lot from my parents and elders. It is a very rewarding job at the end of the day. It is also a job that requires a lot of hours. Sometimes 50 hours a week, sometimes 80+, it all depends. I am fortunate to be "good" at what I do. I say that modestly. I have only been licences for a little over a year, but have already made great connections and people request for me all the time. Since it is a family business and my father has been doing it for 35+ years, almost daily do people request him and only want to deal with him. So many of those times have I taken care of these families and not once has someone been upset about it, and actually, every time it has been quite the contrary. If you have any other questions, message me and I'll be happy to answer them. If you want to look up my family's business, we are: Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury CT 06708 Proudly serving the Greater Waterbury Community Since 1952 www.chaseparkwaymemorial.com
