Just a warning/heads up on a possible problem with this $800 navigation system. Could be a coincidence. Or it might not be
I installed this system on my friends car. It looks awesome. Seems great.
After a week and a half his ignition switch started to jam and he had to mess with it to turn the car on and off. Meanwhile his car has thrown the limp mode wrench a few times out of nowhere. His car has been tuned for 7-8 months without any problems toll now
Today a guy in our houston s550 group posted about his ignition button sticking on his car as well. And a little later posted a picture of the limp wrench asking what it meant. The car is stock. On stock tune and never had a problem till the navigation install
As i said could be coincidence.
But there are two cars. That both recently installed the unit. Both seeing the same symptoms. Felt i should make a post and possibly save someone some time and money
