Ratting cat = Dangerous?

So one of my cats has recently started rattling.

Is it ok to drive? The last thing i need is the cat pieces flying back into the exhaust port on the head and screwing my car up on decel.

I drove my car for like 6 months before I ripped the x pipe off and gutted the cats. It was really annoying it didn't do any damage that I know of tho. I pounded all that platnum out and it just made everything feel better

Yeah my buddys cat has been rattling for awhile now too. I think you should be ok.

I blew my cat apart on the dyno once. I've heard the turbo guys talk about if it's clogged it can cause back pressure and do damage but I don't know of any specific examples of that happenings. I also don't know if rattling = clogged.
