I understand this can vary depending on where you are, but here is my list anyways.

Carls Jr> In-N-out> Del taco >Burger King> Taco Bell> Jack in the Box> whatever else is here in California.

I try to stay away from it but if I have time for a lunch break at work I usually grab Wendy's because its really the only one around the area. I am no where near overweight, but in the long run that food will hurt ya.

White Castle FTW, since it's basically the only decent fast food on the east coast.

Pizza and Subwayis the fastest food I've eaten in years.

Lots of times, it seems like you can tell a lot about the quality of an individual fast food restaurant by visiting their restrooms. If the restrooms are clean, chances are the rest of it is clean.

As far as food-quality, speed, price, etc.

1. Steak 'N Shake (we only have one around here; big favorite)
2. Zaxby's Chicken (another favorite)
3. Biscuitville (regional chain/great breakfast items sold through lunch)
-------
The rest are rated generally. Some locations are much worse than others:

4. Hardee's (Carl Jrs.)
5. McDonalds
6. Wendy's
7. KFC/Taco Bell
8. Burger King

I will say that I didn't include Subway in the list, which is not like a typical fast food restaurant. Subways are usually about the cleanest subshop you'll find...at least around here.

After working at In N Out for many years, i can honestly tell you that compared to all the burger joints, INO Burger is the freshest there is. Everything is fresh including the buns. I try not to each as much fast food. But i like KFC, Subway, Carls Jr. thats about it

I'll probably create some West Coast waves with this one, but In-n-out is terrible. I do not get the obsession with that place. The burger was the greasiest shit I've ever put in my mouth. I just do not get it.

I really liked Jack in the box though.

Here's a list of ones I like in no particular order:

Chickfila
Whattaburger
Zaxby's
Firehouse Subs - best subs I've ever had - I think they're just in the Southeast though
Wendy's -$.99 chicken sandwiches ftw
Hardees (Carl's Jr. is the same place) - seem scarce in FL
Pollo Tropical - shit is so good and healthy. I think it's only in FL.

What the hell are half of theses places you guys have mentioned? Man Minnesota sucks! I guess were not fat enough yet. I better start eating for the rest of us here because I love fast food and I want more options. 1) Chipotle hands down
