More like a heavily modified stepside Ranger XLT ... he was doing a decent burnout and then revved even higher before taking off.

There were a few limited production 5.4l SVT "Lightning Bolt" Rangers on Ford lots ... I saw one on my dealer's lot in Virginia only weeks after buying my L.

There was only 1 'Lightning Bolt' ever made by Ford as an 'demo' thing and required very extensive modifications to the Ranger frame to get it to fit (basically grafted on a Lightning front clip). To date, Ford has yet to produce the Ranger with a factory V-8 :cryying: , but it still doesn't stop people from swapping them in.

i put a whipple blower on a 3.0 litter ranger edge,,,,,went to the track and beat a lightly modded integra R twice :-D
