Ran my Cobra for the first time tonight!!!!

Mods to date:
MGW shifter
Off-Road H Pipe
Ciotti custom Cold Air Intake.
Which is a WMS upper pipe and a 9 inch UPR filter.

I raced my sister who has a 1999 GT with the following mods. BTW she has a automatic trans.

SCT Xcal Tuner
3.73 Gears
Upper Intake
BBK Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Equal Length Headers
High Flow X-Pipe
Mac Cat Back




I ran a 13.643 at 104.38 MPH 60 foot time was 2.121
She ran a 13.955 at 99.68 MPH 60 foot time was 2.095


I think my biggest problem was a slow launch and spinning the shit out of 2nd gear.

Damn thats fast. ive only been able to pull of a 14.01 but ive been getting horrible 60fts, around 2.3. I cant launch any higher than 2500 without spinning.

Michelin Pilot Primicy they were off of a Mercedes.
My friend works at the local benz dealer and got me a set for free.
Probably about 50% tread life left.

Well you figure its like 100 degrees in Bako like everyday. Yea times weren't good either. I did get a 105mph trap though, with a 2.2 60ft.

What altitude was that at? Sea level? I hate where i live.

Close to sea level but not exactly sure what it is.
Temp was about 75-80

Yepper. Anytime you lose traction it will negatively affect your times.

Any spinning will affect your time. Just think insted of spinning you could be hooking and be getting much farther down the track
