Attention All UK Mustangs/Hot-Rods! The Annual RAF LAKENHEATH Car/Bike show is fast approaching. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 8th in the hospital parking lot across from the Arts & Crafts Center from 10a-3p. I have spoken with the organizer and have reserved a section for just Mustangs. It is free to enter and if you would like to particiate and park with us, please respond to this post or shoot me a PM and I will add you to the list. Please include your screen name, actual name, and car. I only have 10 spots reserved, so get'em while they're hot! We may be able to arrange a cruise-in, and Im more than certain there will be a "cruise" on the way out. Weather permitting, it should be a great time with food booths, bouncy castles, "for the kids", prizes, and even a PORTABLE DYNO! Look forward to meeting everyone and seein your awesome rides!

UPDATE: Spoke with Mark from Rapid GB and confirmed his Portable Dyno WILL be there! His going rate for a good pull is 45 pounds. If we get more than 5 cars committed, he will knock it down to 40 pounds. Ive done business with him before and he is a good guy. Let me know if you are 100% going to get your car dyno'd the day of.

Should be around 45 pounds or so for one pull. Ordinarily you can get 3 or so pulls for that price at their shop but if it is anything like it was last year you're looking at probably one pull.

Added some guys from MOCGB.com. Looks like I may need to reserve some more spots!

I hear the Viper turnout is pretty big. If we can bring in more cars than them, it would be awesome!

I emailed the dyno people and asked them 1) if there were for sure going to be there...and 2) if we could get a group discount if we had enough people. Guess we will see what they say.

    Heres there website.

Where the hell was that? I have done dynos all over the country (America) and would say the average is $60 for 3 pulls.

It doesnt matter to me. We could go the back way, thru Fordham I think it is. It will bring us to Mildenhall Village. Then we could just head to the front gate. There are a few British guys wanting to come and I would like to meet up with everyone and all drive on base together. But as far as us 4 or 5 we could def meet up somewhere around here and drive in. Let me know what you think.

Guess thats what we will do unless we come up with something different. Also there are about 13 cars lined up so far, just havent posted it here cause everyone seems to be signing up on MOCGB.com. Do you guys wanna meet up with all them before we roll on base?

i'll probably meet you at your house and we'll head over to tesco's from there. as far as the brits, if they think they may have a problem finding the tesco's we can meet them en route at the five way's gas station
