Hey guys, I was trying to replace my cracked intercooler reservoir and I ran into an issue immediately. These screws (at least they look like screws) will not come out. They spin but that's it. Is there any way to get these out without ripping them out and destroying the plastic surrounding them? Thanks!

Is there a source for new ones if I happen to destroy these?

You shouldn't like stated above. Once you get the washer held or a pry tool underneath they should come out fine. If you break one Ford should sell them. Wouldn't surprise me if doorman does too at the local auto part stores.

Those are dummy screws..look like a screw but are push in/pull out
Screw holds wedges to stay in..
Lowes has them in hardware section

I recently bought a bag of dozens on Ebay. Send me a pm of you want a few. Fit great. No idea what Ford charges.

*edit* Another trick is to use something small like a pick to pry upward on the screw between it and the washer part. Back it out like normal with a screwdriver while prying up.
