easy. its gel coated. just sand, primer im assuming, then paint. if you are going to paint it, might as well just go with DF version and save the $. the difference in weight isnt dramatic

Man, that CF looks sweet..
Put me down for a DF hood. Missed out on last one. I think a painted CO would look sweet!
I am still undecided on how much of or if at all I want to paint the hood, thats why I went with the 50/50. Some one posted pics of a painted hood with the vents left in carbon fiber that looked pretty good.
^^^ Where did you find that pic? That is what I was considering but also love the all CF look.
Ya, I haven't seen that pic either...? I have 0 carbon fiber on my car, I like to keep it all uniform, therefor it will be getting painted.
Somewhere here on SVTP.
Never saw that picture either. I was planning on painting mine to match the car color and maybe vinyl wrap the vents red.
