According to car and driver, the 300C SRT8 did a 13.2 at 109 while Motor Trend got the M3 to go 13.3 at 104. I'm guessing from a dig on the street it might be a good race (with two equal drivers), but the faster you go the more that SRT8 should pull. Car and Driver's 109 trap was with an auto SRT8, so it's still a 109 trap car; more than enough to make up for the typical magazine spec variations or the M3s manual trans.
The M3's best shot is a roll race from a bad mph for the 5-speed auto in the SRT8. But once they really get moving I think the SRT8 will come around (unless you guys start way up there).
Im going with the 300 here.. The SRT moves out from a roll
dig race the M3 has the advantage..
I walked a M3 vert hard with 4 people in my T/A with my t-tops off and his top down from about a 50-60 roll.. My car was trapping maybe 112-114 at the time..
