R888 Fitment Question(Yes I Searched)

So there seems to be a lot of inconsistent information regarding the fitment of R888's. I will be running 18x10 Saleen replicas. The car is not lowered now, but will have H&R Race springs in the near future( I don't mind keeping iso's). I don't want to run spacers or roll my fenders. I don't have an issue buying low profile IRS bolts.
So my question is: Should I buy 315/30/18 or 305/35/18?
315's are actually cheaper.

I had 315's on 17" and it required both rolled fenders, spacers, and low-profile IRC bolts. I tried without rolled fenders and when I would hit a bump at speed it would scratch. My car was also lowered with H&R sport springs.

Hope that helps...

Having just went through this, I kind of regret going with the 315/30/18. Yeah its wide and looks nice, but 305 has about the same contact patch and more side wall. I also had to buy the MM low pro IRS bolts.

Being that you are 18x10 I'd probably just go with the 305s.

this is on 18x10.5" wheel

I run 315 on 17x10.5 and there's a pretty good bulge on them. I have MM coil overs out back and the low profile IRS bolts. I do not have rolled fenders or spacers. Go with the 305 and IRS bolts.

I run a 305/35/18 r888 on my 18x11 rim and it's perfect. Should be the better choice for you. More sidewall and same contact patch as the 315. Gives it a better stance IMO. Best of luck.

I would love to have Forgestars. Too much money for me. Plus I will be buying 4 18x9 and 2 18x10's, since I cant run R888's in the winter.

I searched and found conflicting info.
Thats why I started the thread.

Agree, I have searched many times for this exact tire question. There are a lot of conflicting answers. Some roll fenders with the 315/30/18 and many do not. I think I am going to go with the 305/35/18 (not for sure yet). But like you I would like to have the 315/30. I got the AFS 10.5" chrome repos.

Just got mine on today, 5mm Spacer Low pro irs bolts. Not lowered where I want it yet on the coils, so not sure if I'll have to roll fenders, but it doesn't seem like I will

I run 315/30/18 BFG drag radials on 18x11 CCWs. I have the low profile IRS bolts and 1 coil cut from the stock springs. No spacer and no rolling of the fenders.
