R & R Front Axle Boots

So the other day I had the cobra lifted up and noticed that both front axle boots are broken and the seals are gone and leaking what looks like transmission fluid, i'm ordering the boots and seals and was wondering what kind of maintenance and time i'm looking at for a remove and replace, to be more specific any shortcuts or things i need to know when i'm taking the tire off to do this...

there are no front axles?????? maybe the balljoint or tie rod boots?

If it's your steering rack, good luck. Seems to me the red fluid you are describing is power steering fluid. Check this thread - linky

Yea sorry i meant the boots that are on the tie rods

The dust cap on the tie-rod ends, or the flexible steering boots?

the flexible boots...if i get home from work before dark i mite be able to take a pic of it
