Getting around to installing my dual fan afco heat exchanger on my 2010 and have a question. There are 2, roughly triangle shaped pieces of plastic, 1 for each side with a rubber flap on one side that used to attach to the old heat exchanger mounting bracket with small metal clips. I cant find where to install them on the new setup. I assume they are there to direct air more efficiently so im not sure what to do with them. My instruction book says 2007-2009 and these pieces are not in any of the directions, nor can I find it by searching or watching the VMP youtube vids. Anyone with any ideas or answers for this. thanks

You don't need those flaps.
There are two more flaps that direct air into the radiator and since the H/E is bigger it will fill the area to make use of those flaps.
