What would be the quickest and most reliable way to get to 600whp on a 2003 cobra? I know the supercharger would do good to be upgraded, but what about fuel mods?

Also what charger? Would something like the whipple 2.3 be good, or the KB equivalent of that, or would i need to go bigger? Would the bigger ones give me that distinct whine the smaller ones seem to have?

yeah i did a quick search but didn't find anything, but i didn't look too hard.

i'm looking at a cobra to get for this spring/summer as a weekend/nice day driver. something to play with on the streets.

All my buddies drive T/A's and Camaro's with some good work done to them, and i know they'll give me crap for having a Mustang, so that just means i have to have a mustang that'll spank their little f-bodies :burn:

not much of a fan of juice. if i liked juice i'd do that on my truck rather than bigger turbo.

How streetable is the KB 2.8? would it work for 600whp or would i be better off going with a smaller one like the whipple 2.3 or kb 2.6?

2.3 or 2.6 will get you there. pretty much everyone agrees that if u think u will ever want more than that to just go big right off the bat. the smaller blowers are good for 6-650 pretty much maxed out. the 2.8h and 3.4 are easily making that for only a few hundred dollars more, then it's just a bottom end and fuel system away from the sky being the limit. anymore than the 6-650rwhp on a street car is more or less useless. you'll never effectively use all that power. well maybe.....

Port+Juice is the proven quickest way. Literally HUNDREDS of threads on this.

Basically that

or

Upgrade the supercharger

I'm more partial to eaton+spray because its a sleeperish setup

ok call be dumb, but what is the 4# crank

He is referring to adding a larger lower pulley which adds 4llbs of boost.

I had a ported Eaton which made 517/510.
A 100 shot was added to a tune of 615/665 and 10.4s@134
My current set up consists of and Eaton TVS 2.3 which makes 635/636.

2.8 kb with a 2lb lower gets me 620 hp @ 21lbs of boost which gets the blower to hot for street driving IMO plus pushed the seals out and it leaked.

Now 2.8 kb with a stock lower & 3.65 upper gets me 610hp @ 19lbs of boost.

The above number have been corrected after Kurgan tune.

Now 2.8 kb stock lower gets me 600hp @ 19lbs or same lower and 17lbs gets 580 hp and either works great as daily driver.
did you sent it to kb to get new seals?
