I know the 5.0 Cobra guys have said that there is some power (and hopfully throttle response) in advancing the timing over the stock setting. What is the stock timing number and what would the "free mod" timing number be, as it would look on the timing numbers on the balancer? Basically, what is a good number to put the timing at on a stock 94' Cobra 5.0 without detonation on 91 octane? And, I do know the SPROUT needs to be disconnected first.

Stock timing is 10*. I'd start out around 12-14*, I'm running 17* and my plugs look good and car runs it's best at that..

No, no 93 in AZ. Best I have is 91 at the pump... Thanks for the feedback guys I appreciate it. Will advancing the timing give me a little more throttle response down low?
