instead of running the procharger intake tube with the filter on it, i'm thinking of just putting a filter directly on the head unit. anyone doing this? pro's? con's?

If your blow through you can do it.Its just hard finding a filter that will fit with the limited space.

Due to my limited space of no more than an inch of clearance all I run is a sceen on my inlet... but you have to keep in mind I dont drive down dirty roads all day long either

i have quite a bit more space to work with than you do.

k&n makes pretty much any size filter you could ever want. i'm going to be doing this and ditching the plastic inlet tube procharger provides, after i upgrade my head unit.

I contemplated this when my powerpipe would not fit with the F1A. I ended up having a custom powerpipe made with a real tight bend. At the time, I could not find a decent filter that would clear the radiator.
