I KNOW you are both wrong. It's over 6 quarts. The 4.6 is known for spinning bearings when as little as a HALF-QUART low. Buy 7 and make sure it's full.

Should I just put 7 quarts in to be safe? I know in order to start blowing seals you have to have A LOT more oil than needed.

But for the most accuracy I should check the oil level when the car is under normal operating temperatures?

Really? That's the best way? Soooo many people say to check it "hot" or under nominal operating temps...:bash:

I dump 6 quarts in it every 3000 miles so i dont think 1/4 quart "low" of oil will make me spin a bearing. i could be wrong tho, i guess ill start dumping 6 1/3 quarts since i dont like risking it.
