Quick Crappie Fishing Question

I am fishing from shore and using crappie tubes with a bobber. How do you use these things?

Do you just cast it out there and let it sit and let the bobber do all the work? Or do you slowly retrieve?

Let it sit for the most part. Remember, crappie will always come up for bait, but never down.

How deep are you fishing? slip-bobbers are good for casting out and letting your bait drop to the bottom

We just let them sit. A fun thing to do is get an Ultra-lite rod and a single jig and cast and crank. Makes the crappie feel like a huge fish. We usually throw 2 or 3 rods out to just sit and then cast and crank the Ultra-lite.
