Quick and easy decklid question.

Its been a while for me and ive having a hard time remembering. Now these questions are referring to stock spoilers.

99/00 spoilers, the hoopish looking one everyone hates. Does it use the same mounting hole configuration as as the 01-04 spoilers like that my mach has. Could one pop off the 01-04 spoiler and stick on the 99/00 ?

No, the 99-00 style mounts out near the outside of the trunk lid; whereas, the 01-04 style mounts further in toward the center. You would have visible holes one way or another.

Im going to do the 99/00 spoiler painted matte black like my factory spoiler and moved back on the decklid

Mine isn't painted matte black, but I moved my stock 00' Spoiler to the back of the lid. Looks much better in my opinion.

Quoted for the truth. I like the 99/00 spoilers more than the 01-04 spoilers by a long shot. But wingless is the way to go.

By far.. They don't look right unless it's gone. First thing i did on 99 and 00.. The stock spoilers are ugly

im one of the few who like the 99/00 wing. And keeping it matte black will keep the mach 1 theme should turn out nice and probably be the only mach with that spoiler
