questions about porting the blower

ive been thinking about porting the blower myself. i was looking at some bits and notice that they really arent that cheap so i want to make sure that i get the right ones. is there anything else that i might need besides the carbide bits, like sand paper for finishing. were was it purchased at, cuz the cornwell stuff i was looking at was expensive and i know i can find it for cheaper. your advice would really help.
