This car is taken to car shows and driven 1000 miles per year, I would be happy with 500rwhp. It will likely get run hard once in a while but no plans for hard back to back runs and such, I do not want to add an intercooler.

I will list my parts here, questions at bottom
-car is a 97 cobra
-fresh rebuilt teksid, .020 over Mahle flat top pistons CR 10.5:1
-01 cobra C heads, with 01 cams
-mach 1 lower intake, adapter plate with stock B head upper intake
-egr and sai delete, cop conversion
-stock manifolds, bassani catted x, dynomax welded mufflers
-01 timing cover, single bolt tensioner, stock accessory pulleys
-Aero 340 lph pump
-60 lb injectors

-sending my vortech in for S to Si upgrade
-non-intercooled
-SCT ba2600 maf
-AFM power pipe
-either 3.12 or 3.33 pulley, 6 rib
-will go to stlmustangs to be tuned on E85 with SCT

I'm thinking 3.33 pulley at 11-12 lbs or 3.12 pulley at 13+ lbs.

Questions
-Would a 6 rib 3.12 pulley work well with stock tensioner?

-best way to mount to fender well Maf/air filter? I am afraid I need a smaller air filter than I currently have to use my power pipe and SCT ba2600.

-What should be used for a BOV on a non-cooler vortech?
I have not found a solution for how large of a valve is needed or if there's different options where to put it.

-Does the fuel system have enough room for 500+ hp on E85? (Stock rails, 60 lb, 340 lph pump)

I am confused...if you mount your MAF in the fender, it will be draw through and you can't run a blow off valve. You have to use a bypass. I don't think you will have enough room to run a BA2600 after the blower and still have room for a BOV. Maybe if the BOV is right by the throttle body?

The reason a BOV works better on a intercooled setup is you can put the BOV after the blower but before the intercooler, and put the MAF on the way to the throttle body from intercooler. Lots of piping to work with.

Bottom line, you cannot blow off air once it has been metered.

Surely this is not the only car ever to have no intercooler, but it sure seems that way. Will I just use the small bypass that I already have (part of the base vortech kit)?

The bypass valve that comes with the kits are only good for about 9-10lbs of boost. He is correct, once The air is metered it cannot be purged from the intake piping. If you google search you will find plenty of bypass valves that will work with your set-up...
