Thanks guys. I figured if I had the balls to message a recruiter for another company on Linkedin then why the f not message the Director of Business that I had multiple interviews with at the company that I started this thread in regards to. I'm curious to see if he provides any feedback or even replies to my message at all.

You're being strung along needlessly, IMO. If you haven't received an interview for that "other" position chances are good that you won't get either job. I'd suggest you continue the job hunt to avoid wasting time in the event you never receive the good news of landing the position at the first company. Good luck either way. I don't look forward to the job hunt when I decide to leave Italy....
