question on svt cats

I heard rumors that the cats on the svt are high flow cats, is that true or are they the same restrictive cats on all the models. And what about the stock 4-2-1 tuned headers, think its worth going aftermarket for a little extra punch.

i'm not aware of any header better than the stock one.

The cat on the SVT is not really a high flow but it does flow better then most. The header on the SVTF is made by Cosworth and is a great piece. There are no better headers on the market.

Agreed. The off-road pipe(cat eliminator) is a good way for some more power, and a lot more attitude(noise). But be careful if you live in a smog enforced area. The stock header cannot be beaten. E-
