I am in the middle of my second TT cobra, and the 57mm turbos I am installing do not have nipples for the boost reference. I remember when I had my hellion kit the turbonetcs used to have these for boost reference. Can I take the boost reference from intake manifold after the TB to control the waste gates?
Any idea? I do not have really experience with turbos to be honest.

You could locate a reference line in the charge pipe after the turbos. That would be the best solution if there isn't one on the housing. I would not let it go all the way to the manifold.

Is there a relatively flat spot on the compressor cover? Some turbos don't have the port, but they do have a "flat spot" in the casting so you can drill and tap for a fitting.

x2 on drilling and tapping. otherwise using a dedicated source from the intake is fine.

I do not know if I would trust that fitting in a coupler. It may work, but it can tear, leak, blow out etc.

Just tap the housing. It is aluminum, it is super easy.
