Question for those that have changed their sparkplugs themselves

I'm just now thinking about this, so I'll post my question. When changing my spark plugs several months ago, I noticed that inside one of my spark plug boots (passenger side first plug) that the actual metal coiled piece that connects to the spark plug wasn't very long and didn't come all the way down to the end of the boot. The other seven boots metal coiled piece came almost to the end of the boot.
has anyone else noticed anything like this when changing their spark plugs? Should I replace this particular boot and coil pack?
