Question for iPhone users using gmail as their email client

I just got an iPhone for Christmas and am trying to set it up. I have working but for some reason when I send an email it sends a copy to MY inbox as well as the intended receiver.

Is this normal or is there a way to turn that off and fix it.

It is normal, I use Gmail as well. Everytime I send out an email it sends me a copy of it in my INBOX. I am not sure if there is a way to turn it off or not. It doesnt bother me too much cause I just go in and delete it real quick. It only sends it to my inbox on my phone but if I go to my gmail account from my computer it doesnt show up there. Have you tried going into the mail settings and seeing if there is a way to turn it off? let me know!

go to settings, mail, and at the bottom there is a thing that says "Always BCC myself". Turn that off and you will be fine.

thanks for letting us know! i figured thats what it was, but it was something that never really bothered me so I never thought to do anything about it!
