From what i have been reading, if I wire a BAP up pre- FPDM (I think said that right) the configuration that has the pumps on all the time, The BAP will supply voltage to overdrive the pumps all the time and the computer will still vary the pump speeds. so what happens with 2 FPDM's Do you need two BAPS? I mean you still have the same amount of fuel pumps just 2 controllers. May be a dumb question just trying to understand a little better.
'Thanks

I dont think it supplies extra voltage all the time. i believe once the engine is at a certain load the bap kicks in. i could be wrong on this im no expert lol. Hopefully someone will chime in that knows more than me.

Yes, the most recommended setup is running a BAP without the Hobbs switch, running increased voltage all the time, and wired pre FPDM. This setup allows a BAP to supply the FPDM with the power it needs to run the pumps, and keeps the FPDM in control. Here is how you run a single BAP with dual FPDMs.
