less likely

they will all spit plugs if they get loose and start jack-hammering in the hole

make an effort to check them out every so often and you will never have a problem

Yeah..
Supposedly there were some surplus 02' heads on some of the 03's.

ive heard about this too

has anyone with an 03 ever found out they did in fact have the 4 threaded heads?

this had me worried for a bit, but my 03 is in the 4xxx so i should have the 8 threads

Build date was January 03'. I'm looking at buying one that spit a plug at around 40k miles and the head was replaced under warranty at the dealership. Now has 60k on it and no problems since. Will probably keep it stock for awhile then do some mods. What do you guys think? Thanks

I wouldnt sweat any year lightning based on the plugs. Just check them every oil change. Its not really mods that make them spit, its people that neglect them.
