Question about 01 Cobra hood

Does anyone make a billet piece to replace that cheap plastic crap on the hood?? Post pics!!!!

There are no billet pieces that I've every heard of. Have you tried just removing it and running nothing; it actually looks good that way if your paint isn't screwed up under it.

You could epoxy mesh that is painted black from behind it, as long as the painted part looks ok. Late model resto sells the plastic insert for about $20.

I have seen those for sale, but it looks stupid, it's just a big shiny piece of aluminum stuck in the scoop, maybe if it was painted black but I have only seen them in silver finish.
