Ya, I know the answer, but I'll ask anyway: Why hasn't Ford offered a Mustang model in a light tan/desert tan metallic?

Don't cha think a Mach1 or GT500 would look kinda classy?

Wish I could photoshop it.

I said the same thing a few years back. It would look neat.

Revisiting this thread as it’s car buying time again……

If I have an X plan price that the Ford website generates for a dealer vehicle that is within a few bucks of what they are showing online for that vehicle for the general public is there room for them to show me any savings?

Example 2023 Exploder is on dealer site at MSRP less 2 K “dealer discount”

X plan price is 2.1K less than MSRP when you view thru portal

$100 savings, and that’s what the dealer will sell for.

No.

XPlan isn't a discount, it's a sales price.

but also look at dealer fees and such, down here with the crazy fees Xplan ends up being a big discount due to that

Yeah. Admin fees for X Plan deals are limited to $100. So in Florida where fees can get $1,500....that is a considerable discount.

Appreciate all the answers over the l years in this thread.
I may have done a poor job asking……

I assume paying 3800 under MSRP for a lowly XLT won’t happen and the discount of 2K isn’t getting layered on X plan price.

The only way anything gets layered is there can be factory rebates that can be stacked with xplan but if it’s just a dealer discount then there’s no way to make that and xplan work

Here's another question:

Have you ever sold a vehicle to someone and how far away was the farthest?

I'm tossing around a few ideas.

I've sold several vehicles to people....lol

I've sold to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Europe.... I think the furthest vehicle I have with my decal on it is someplace around Sydney, Australia.

LOL dickhead.

I meant on here.

Yes, I've sold a bunch on here. Probably 30ish?

Furthest was either Washington state or Florida.

I make it pretty easy.

EDIT: I say 30ish...but I mean 30ish different people. I have probably 20 that have bought at least two vehicles....10 that have bought 3+....5 that have bought 5+ and 2 that have bought 10+.

So total vehicles, I'd guess in the vicinity of 130 or so vehicles.

Well I used my X plan to add a new Xploder to the fleet.

The dealer was very helpful and even dug up a private offer I forgot about.

Do dealers hate all the various alphabet plans?

No. We get paid the same, just some from you and some from Ford. Dealers aren't required to accept plans.

Got any 2500, 4x4, extended cab, long bed, 6.0 Silverados you're tired of looking at and want to offload? Lol. Can't find one around here that don't have the fenders flapping in the wind going down the road.

Are they ever putting the 2.3 or 2.7 or 3.0 in the Maverick?
There is a guy that put a 2.3 from an Aviator in a Maverick. said it was a straight swap but had to make the coolant temp sensor wiring longer. Did full exhaust and intake work like for a Mustang Ecoboost and with tune is running low 10's if I remember correctly.
