Where is the RTV supposed to go. I really don't understand the instructions conserning this. Just at a guess, it goes between the two elbows or, does it help seal the MAF to the MAF adapter.

the rtv is to replace the sealing properties of the screens rubber seal. it goes between maf and the pipe.
