as the title says....now I scrape mufflers all the time on
speed bumps and even irregularities in the road (bunched-up
pavement from wear) . Is there a ready to purchase EXHAUST
option to better tuck mufflers up into the car? BTW I have
a bassani CB. If there are no off the shelf options, I am going
to take my CB off and have the inlet and exhaust tubes that
the mufflers mount to jogged up as close as possibel, without
hitting the floor pan.

Also, do MM isolators raise the car up a bit?

the worst part is my tranny scrape now too...and to think
I went with KB because of all the too low compliants about
H&R springs.

& don't suggest putting it back to stock...cause I won't.

I just took off my H&R SS because of this. I am using urethane isolators all around and it is supposed to raise the car up about 1/4 of an inch. I went with Steeda springs and I couldn't be happier.

MM does offer thicker isolators.

Another option you may want to consider is cutting the stock springs and arriving at a ride height between the KB's and the stock height.

How??????? Are you sure there KB springs?

I ran them for awhile and never even came close to scraping. I was also not running Isos. I too also have the Bassani catback.

Either you have some weird mounting poings on your suspension or you are mistaking a set of KBs for something else.

Also did you verify that the KBs you have are for your car? IE coupe/convert

I'm surprised you are scraping. I have KB springs with Bassani catback and I rarely scrape. What are your ride height measurements, ground to fender lip?

they are KB springs...I am not running the rear spacers that
came from KB which they said were for the heavier verts,
which I have. These spacers are 1/4 ... to 3/8 max thickness.
My point is that even if I put these on....I know I will scrape
as there are times when it is not a barely scrape but rather a
"i feel the mufflers moving up" scrape".

I will be putting them back on when I put the remainder of
my MM bushings on in the next week or so.
I will take measurements & post them as it sits now.

thanks for the replies so far

my k member brace and exhaust at the flange where it meets the midpipe scrapes at just about every speedbump. Normal driving i never scrape. some driveways that are steep my exhaust hits, but i think its possible to tuck in the exhaust a bit more to help minimize scraping.

I just cut my springs on my 03 this weekend. I cut about 5/8 of a coil off all the way around and its just right. My xpipe was already scraping some so I tried out an idea I had while the car was on the lift. I loosened up all the bolts on the xpipe then used a tall jack and pushed up right where the x is and then tightened everything back up. Now the exhaust tucks up under the car way better than before, and I haven't scraped on any speed bumps yet.
