also, you will get better knock safety net with 93 and a few gallons of e85. The engine will run cooler and it will be safer with boost. Only downside is MPG might go down a little bit.

There are a couple of stations here in my town that sell "non-ethanol 93"

Around me racetrack sells 87 with no ethanol and Wawa has 89 with no ethanol.
They used to be 5-10 cents cheaper than 93 but now they are 5-10c more or the same price.
At that point rather just run 93.

If a car runs on it without ping, it is the right gas. Running 93 on any car that is not tuned for higher octane is a waste of money.

Octane is rating is just a number to indicate resistance to knock.

Gosh, how are tracks supposed to sell all that race fuel on street night if you're going around spouting all that truth out publically
