Measure the pulleys diameter and post it up and we can tell you how many lbs of boost it adds. Also there are a couple charts floating around with dimensions and how much boost they add. Type pulley chart in the search and it should pull some up

9" is quite bit. I'd guess a 5-6lb.

btw, you don't have ported heads? Man that's where the power is.

I just put my engine back in two months ago. And with a stock upper & 6lb lower (jdm blue) I'm seeing 17-18psi in this cold 40F air. Last month at the track I was on a 4lb lower and was seeing 14psi pulling up through 2nd & 3rd.

(my engine specs are linked from my web page)

top pulley is 3 1/4 inches and the bottom is 9in

3 1/4 is larger than stock for the upper(if you measured right)lol

9in lower is a 6lb pulley

stock lightning upper is 2.93

number seem low for your combo..even with a eaton you should be making 450-475 hp with those mods

are your numbers sae or corrected?

Lower pulley sizes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7.5 inches = stock
8.0 = 2lbs
8.25 = 3lbs
8.5 = 4lbs
8.75 = 5lbs
9.0 = 6lbs
9.50-9.75 = 8lbs

Add approx .5 inches for every 2 lbs.

Old post from Lightning Larry

Check the How to's This is where this is

I think it is a conservative tune. I am going to get a 8# lower, 2.70-2.93 upper, and port the eaton and retune it. then we'll see what it makes.
