For those of you running the 2.80 pulley how does it compare with the 2.93? I have the 2.80 sitting in the trunk waiting to be installed and I have heard both good and bad about the 2.80. I just want to make sure I don't hurt the motor or supercharger by running so much boost. The guy I purchased the pulley from said it was perfectly safe but I just want to make sure.

IMO. there is nothing to be gained with the 2.8 over the 2.93 at this point. I don't think the 2.8 will hurt in any way either.

For whatever reason, unlike the Lightning, spinning the blower faster and faster doesn't seem to add much boost or HP, maybe a few ponies, but not much.

I think when the reasons for this are understood ( I have lots of good theories, just not parts to try to verify them), and new intake, TB's, inlet elbows and heat exchangers become available, the 2.8 will prove its worth.
