when you need to swap a pulley in a hurry because you're taking it in for service or you're broken down at the track, Murphy's Law will probably prevail and your less-expensive puller/installer will fail on you and screw up your blower and cause you to have a stroke or a heart attack or something
another thing to consider is that you want a tool that won't leave marks all over your stuff..... once again, damaged chit may result in trip to the emergency room, oxygen mask, etc
