so im looking at getting a set of the steeda underdrives for my 98, but the only thing i'm unsure about is the install. i know its quick but i was looking at the motor with my friend and we were wondering if the EGR tube gets in the way because its right in front of the harmonic balancer. how did you guys deal with it? any other tips? thanks guys

That tube was a pain in the ass to go around but we got it done with a bit of persuasion. I think (I did the install with my uncle) that my uncle found the clip holding it in place and tried to drop it a tad and it kinda helped - although it was a PITA to reach.

You can find directions on the install on the Corral, and also on the Steeda website. I will look for some, since I know that one of the directions I found was done on a 98.
