Public Beach Access

How are the public beach access locations at Myrtle? This is the first time I am going and not staying on the beach. Curious on how the parking situation is for getting on the beach.

I'm pretty anal about the car and not sure what to expect as far as public parking... Are there any nice places to park?

With that being said..... 2 more days and I'll be at the beach!

Some are paved, some aren't. They can fill up quickly.

There is a SMALL paved public beach access beside Holiday Sands South where I am staying. But I'd rather park in gravel than fight all the cars around that parking lot.

In Surfside/Garden City, there are a bunch of public parking areas that are paved. I like to park down off of Calhoun Dr. because there is a paved lot across the street from the beach.

there are some pretty big hotels with lots of parking... im sure they woudn't notice if you sliped in there for a few hours

depending on where you are staying, you could just park in my yard. im in the residential part of myrtle (around 40th ave) between kings and ocean blvd
