PS3 for $700?

i can get a ps3 60 gig for $700 from a friend, you guys think i should buy it or wait till next year or when ever i can find one for 600?

Assuming you have a state sales tax...so the cost would be @ $635 if you buy one at a store. I say go fo it...

Buy a 360 and many, many accesories for that much, including the HD-DVD drive. But if your set on the Sony, watch the the ebay euctions closely, I just saw a 20 gig sell for $2.25 with no reserve

I agree go for it. I also been checking out the 360. Me personaly im thinking of buying a 360. But im a Playstation guy lol. So I might be going to the dark-side.

Eh, I plan on waiting it out. So far there really aren't any games out that entice me more than GT4 on PS2, I doubt it will be that much better on PS3 until they rewrite the game for the new engine.
