I have tried the search and all I get is a bunch of wrong info. I am looking for the right car (03 cobra) to buy at the moment, and Im already looking to pick up some wheels before hand.

What is the proper backspacing for a front/rear wheel combo? Probably gonna do some CCWs or Tru Forgeds 18" wheels. If I can find a deal on a used set then I wanna confirm that they will fit properly before hand.

Thanks

18x10 or 18x10.5 on the back and a 18x9 on the front will fit just fine. On a 9, nothing smaller than 265/35/18, on the back 325/35 or a 315/35 will fit nicely.

Really when it comes to buy a set of CCW's or True Forged wheels they are made for either an IRS or SRA, and usually the seller says these are made for one or the other. With most other wheels though with a 10.5" rear you'll probably want in the higher +20's offset to mid +20's. Alot of fitment will depend greatly on how tall of a tire you run as well. 9" wheels in the front mid +20's to low +20's.

FWIW, I run an 18x10 on all 4 corners with a +20 offset. 275/35/18 (about 25.5"ish) in the front and a 315/35/18 (about 27") in the rear.

CCW stands for complete custom wheel, they are made to order to fit a specific model car :)

If you are buying a used set of CCW's that were made for an IRS cobra, they will fit.

my rear CCW's are 18x11 with a 6.75" backspace (+19mm offset)
